The show day is bank holiday Monday 4th May 2026. Entry is capped at 16-competitors.
Competitors must be of a competent standard. The event is an Open Class, meaning novice and experienced strongmen of all weight classes compete against one another. If you’re strong, you’re strong! 👍
It’s preferred that you live or work in the Westcountry, as it’s a local event, but not essential.
Entry is priced at £50 and is non-refundable. Entry includes:
- Entry to the North Somerset’s Strongest Man
- 1 competitor T-Shirt (worth £35)
- 10 session pass to @theGym #Nailsea (worth £70)
- 1 competitor ticket to the North Somerset Show (worth £20)
- 1 guest ticket to the North Somerset Show (worth £20)
- Event training sessions @theGym #Nailsea
- Professional treatments on the day of competition
- Copies of all show photos
- A competitor medallion
- The top 3 will receive trophies.
Competitor T-shirts are given out prior to the show day, as are the tickets. A waiver must be signed by each competitor in advance. Details of event training days will be published in advance. Competitors must attend at least 3 training days. This helps us make sure you are ready and able. It is also good for us to know you before the competition day.
